The accomodations in Rome were perfect! We found the time at the Coliseum (THAT guide was fantastic!!!) was tremendous - we could have spent a couple of days there!
We fell in love with Savilettri and all of the towns that we visited from there! Ostuni, Matera, were our favorites!! Oh - our room at Matera?? OMG!! We felt like a King and Queen!! We took videos so that we could show our friends and family what it must be like to be royalty!!
The food?? Holy big belly Batman!! We tend to eat light at night when were at home........but we had pasta every night for part of our dinner!! The home made food ....... I would weigh 500 pounds if I lived in Italy!! We had such wonderful meals AND the owners/chefs would come out and chat with us nearly every restaurant that we ate at in Savilettri!!
Praiano was beautiful!! The road(s) in Amalfi are crazy - so glad you told us not to rent a car!! Our day on the water with our boat and captain - PERFECT!! Champagne on the boat - swimming off the back of the boat - outstanding.

My wife and I traveled to Italy for our honeymoon. We visited Venice, Florence, Sorrento, and Rome. The accommodations were really great, it was a relaxing experience to not have to worry about logistics at all. They were extremely responsive and handled any changes with ease. We will certainly use Italy Lux next time we travel to Italy.
