Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is Europe's most exciting new resort, located on the south coast of Sicily near the fishing village of Sciacca.The resort offers discreet exclusivity that few places can match. The resort is set over 230 acres of stunning landscape with 1.8km of private coastline, yet has just 203 rooms and suites, giving a true sense of space and privacy. All rooms have private terraces and sea views and the Olga Polizzi-designed interiors combine modern luxury with authentic Sicilian motifs. There are two 18-hole championship golf courses and a 9-hole, designed - before the resort itself were finished - by leading architect Kyle Phillips. A game of golf here whether you are the most experienced or the novice player will be an unforgettable experience, with beautiful blue skies overhead and epic sea and landscapes all around. The PGA rated courses welcome the guests who will enjoy every round played. Every day, one of the 18-hole courses will be set up for two-ball play and the other for four-ball play. RESTAURANTS & BARS
Verdura Golf & Spa Resort offers four restaurants. ‘Buon Giorno’ is a casual restaurant, serving an ample buffet breakfast on a large outdoor terrace. ‘La Zagara’, offers an a la carte menu for dinner, featuring the best of Mediterranean cuisine with Sicilian influences. Both restaurants overlook the pool and the sea.
The typical Sicilian trattoria ‘Liola’, near the Torre Verdura fort, is the ideal place for a casual meal with its stunning sea view terrace on the cliffs, whilst ‘Amare’ (open-air and seasonal) is the perfect venue for a casual lunch or romantic candle-lit dinner, just steps from the sea, specializing in fresh seafood.
The resort hotel also offers in-room dining with a 24-hour menu. For drinks, cocktails and snacks there are four bars, one of which usually offers live music in the evenings, and a pool bar. Some restaurants and bars are seasonal and opening is at management discretion.

Set apart from the rest of the resort, the Verdura Spa complex offers the ultimate in spa treatment.
The spa comprises 11 treatment rooms with an outdoor treatment terrace, a relaxation area, a spacious, fully equipped gym, 20m² covered swimming pool and double-height steam room. There are also Finnish and infrared saunas, decked terrace with sun-loungers and four thalassotherapy pools. A separate beauty area offers hairdressing, pedicures and manicures. Personal programs can be tailored to suit individual requirements including diet and exercise.

Verdura Resort offers two 18-hole championship golf courses, plus a 9-hole course and driving range, designed by golf course architect Kyle Phillips, who also designed the acclaimed courses of ‘Kingsbarns’ near St. Andrews, and ‘The Grove’ in Hertfordshire. A team of PGA-qualified professionals are available for group or one-to-one tuition, with tailor-made programs to suit all ages and abilities.
A full range of golfing equipment can be hired at the Clubhouse and electric golf carts are also available for hire. Built around a small piazza, the Clubhouse includes changing rooms with showers and lockers, lounge, Pro-Shop, boutiques, café bar and restaurant.
Other sporting facilities include a stunning 60-metre two-tiered swimming pool overlooking the sea, a tennis center with 6 floodlit courts, full-size football pitch, yoga classes, various water-sports including a diving center and bike hire. Off-center activities include horse riding, land and sea excursions, scuba diving and fishing.

For children aged 4-12 years there is the complimentary Kid’s Club "Verduland" (lunch, special events and baby sitting payable locally) complete with pool, open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm on a full or half day option. Teenagers also have their own dedicated program.
